Work with the Marketing Director to create marketing plans for different properties with specific focus on social media activities to support successful game launches for each brand.
Manage the corporate Social Media channels to help raise awareness for the studio, its services, history and future.
Build, engage and grow a community for each property and brand including NGD Studios itself where relevant, helping to raise awareness among the core and casual gaming audiences.
Write all relevant copy for community-facing channels based on agreed upon game brand messaging, positioning statements and features.
Identify opportunities with relevant influencers to help amplify launch campaigns and brand awareness.
Work with the Marketing Director and Development Team to create supporting marketing campaign assets for Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Instagram and Reddit and any community platforms identified before and during the campaign.
Execute all Social Media advertising campaigns, actively managing the budget, making recommendations and optimizing where necessary.
Provide weekly Social Media marketing reports including performance analytics where relevant, progress reports of active campaigns and key KPI metrics as agreed upon during the planning stages of the campaigns.
Help out with SEO initiatives.
3-5 years relevant experience as a Social Media Manager within the video game industry.
BA/BS or graduate degree not (no exclusive). Marketing, Communications, or a related degree a plus.
English speaker (essential) – must have a flawless handle of the English language both oral and written.
Must have experience using Facebook, Twitter, Steam, Discord and other relevant Social Media platforms, knowing how to take advantage of their features to raise awareness for brands and build communities around them.
Organized, multi-tasker who is able to manage multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Team player, problem solver, and “doer” with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience executing and tracking integrated social media campaigns and developing tracking reports.
Must be professional, self-driven and take ownership of responsibilities.
