Join our client’s dynamic team as an Assistant Editor and be at the forefront of delivering engaging daily content to their website. You’ll play a key role in tracking developing stories, crafting compelling articles, conducting interviews, and ensuring content remains fresh and relevant.
Responsibilities:
- Transform press releases and other information into captivating news articles that resonate with the target audience.
- Conduct in-depth research and interviews to create insightful and engaging narratives for various stories.
- Edit and refine content to maintain high editorial standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with the team to source visuals and additional information to enhance articles.
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
- Previous writing experience in a fast-paced news environment (newspapers, magazines, or online publications) – writing in English is essential.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple stories, and stay ahead of deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality content.
- Prior experience working remotely is a plus.
- Excellent English level is required.
- Must be located in Latin America.
