FC Diez Media is looking for a hands-on Editorial Producer to join our production department.

You will report to Head of Production, with the responsibility of creating informative, entertaining and engaging football video content that can be applied across all viewing platforms.

We are in search of someone with a background in show producing, original content producing and live special event/remote production.

A strong knowledge of South American football at all levels of the sport (specially Copa Libertadores & Copa Sudamericana) is a great fit.

You will thrive in the creative process and have excellent organizational and leadership skills.

We want a editorial producer ready to break out and apply a passion through storytelling applicable to a fast-paced, for television and digital environment.

KEY DELIVERABLES (WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?)

Responsible for writing, producing, finding unique and exciting stories, investigating and gathering South American football on-air content for all FC Diez Media/CONMEBOL platforms.
Work closely with management, editorial, production staff and on-air talent. This person will be interacting most of the time with the Social Media team and partners.
Own the editorial/content and creative development and coverage of assigned stories across all of FC Diez Media/CONMEBOL platforms, including but not limited to broadcast, digital and web.
May be asked to produce live games and shows whenever is needed.
Lead and implement editorial plan for content and show programming as assigned by head of production.
Supervise editing of highlights, show segments and feature elements for content and event programming and production.
Provide ideas and suggestions to help enhance all programming and production initiatives
Work across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials across all viewing platforms.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years’ experience in content gathering and production, writing, producing and editing on a desktop editing system
Strong storytelling, script writing and storyboarding skills.
Actively producing soccer shows in a live TV environment
Remote production experience a must
Deep understanding of current digital and social media trends and how to optimize content for those experiences to engage all users.
Strong attention to detail, organizational/project management skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
Must be willing to work in Buenos Aires Argentina.
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in multi-platform sports environment preferred
Ability to write, edit, produce and gather content under heavy deadline pressure without compromising accuracy or credibility
Passionately develops and presents story ideas
Basic understanding and demonstration of multi-media file formats and strong computer skills

Significant experience in South American fútbol environment and strong journalistic skills
Knowledge and understanding of various media platforms, including broadcast, web and mobile
