The Metadata Assistant assists in all the operational processes related to the procurement of artistic information from 3rd party distributors and the supply of metadata for the platform.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Serve as liaison with the Content Delivery department, with distributors and access the distributors intranets to ensure we obtain all the necessary information from distributors for a given title scheduled to premiere on HBO MAX.
- Keep track of the information received, QC it and spot missing fields.
- Compile an Excel file with all the artistic metadata and a Word file with the synopses to be reviewed by someone else in the team.
- Upload the metadata into Aleph or Meta, according to the need, for programs as well as for promos.
- Request translations for synopses in case a language is missing and keep track of this workflow.
- Provide metadata to other departments that may require it (Programming, Marketing).
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced language skills in English and Spanish
- Corporate experience
- Office suite
- College education (completed or in course)
- Affinity with the world of movies and series
- Strong organizational and communicational skills
- Team player
- Ability to focus
- Attention to detail
- Proven experience with artistic metadata (preferred)
- Portuguese is a plus
